Pastor Ben was born in Plano, Texas. From the time he was young, he knew that he wanted to be a pastor, but it wasn’t until he had the opportunity to share the gospel and teach the faith while working at a summer camp that Ben decided to pursue pastoral ministry in earnest. He met his wife, Emily, while in college and in 2018, they graduated from Concordia University Nebraska, married, and then moved to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis to complete his education. On July 16, 2023, Pastor Ben joined Bethlehem where he was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor. His interests include playwrighting, theatre, podcast editing, videography, mixology, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and the study of the church (ecclesiology). Ben and Emily live in Marshall with their two cats.
