Women’s Bible Study: Faith & Mental Health

- The Church Library
Join us for a new Women’s Bible study on a Scripture-centered approach to understanding mental and emotional struggles in light of God’s Word. We will be using, “Strong in the Lord: A Women’s Bible Study on Faith and Mental Health” by Dr. Jennifer K. Londgren, a licensed marriage and family therapist, counselor, and professor who brings together clinical insight and Lutheran theology.
We’ll look at anxiety, rumination, emotional overload, and relational strain, through the lens of Scripture and Christ’s promises, given in the Gospel and in our Baptism, where identity, comfort, and hope are certain. We want this to be a welcoming time for everyone, so please let us know if you will be bringing any children so that we can ensure we have enough babysitters available for the hour.
Sign up at the Purpose Place to secure your copy of the book ($7 cash or check made out to Bethlehem at the first meeting.) Reach out to Anna Schultz with any questions and we hope to see you there!
