We are excited to announce that our trip is set for September 18-20 at Buckhorn State Park! Based upon our congregational survey, this location offers everything we’re looking for: great fishing, scenic hiking trails, and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors together as men in God’s creation! We’ve reserved a group campsite that will serve as our home base for the trip. Whether you’re a seasoned outdoorsman or just looking to unwind in nature, there will be something for everyone. Here’s what we have planned:

• Fishing: Bring your rods and tackle for some quality time on the water. If you have a fishing boat you’re willing to bring, all the better!
• Hiking: Explore the trails at Buckhorn and take the opportunity to enjoy the fall colors in God’s creation.
• Cooking: We always eat well! Usually, we have a combination of battered fish we’ve caught, brats, and other outdoor friendly food.
• Canoeing/Kayaking: Depending on available boats.
• Campfire Fellowship: Share a beverage around the fire while we carve out some time for a practical Bible devotion to help us grow in comradery as brothers in Christ through God’s Word.
