We go through a three-year cycle – Old Testament, New Testament, and Bible Overview – to help our Sunday School children learn about God’s Word. In our weekly lessons, depending on the grade, children will participate in a large group teaching with music, as well as crafts and games. Through teaching from faithful Sunday School teachers and interactions with their peers in God’s Word, it is our hope that all of our children know they are created by God for a purpose, saved by Jesus Christ through His death on the cross, and guided each day by the Holy Spirit to walk a faithful life!
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” from Luke 12:34 is our theme verse this year as we "Treasure God's Word" and journey through the New Testament.
Students have the opportunity to earn Bounty Bucks in their classrooms for attendance, class participation, and bringing a friend along. They can use their earned Bounty Bucks to purchase items in the Sunday School Store like candy and small toys.
This year we are supporting Shelter from the Storm Ministries. Throughout the year, we will collect funds as well as specific items each quarter that the shelter is in need of. Check the monthly newsletter for what items are being collected at what time.
Raising your child in the faith is one of the most important things you can do. But you aren’t called to do it alone! Whether your child is still in diapers or almost out of the house, they have a place in the family of God here!
